The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for academic planning and administration related to academic departments, academic support services, faculty, and student matters.
Provost
Reporting to the president, the provost oversees undergraduate and graduate academic programs; student affairs; athletics; sponsored research; graduate admissions and marketing; international programs; and the University registrar.
Associate Provost and Dean of the College
The associate provost/dean of the college provides academic leadership and vision for the undergraduate college and for administration of undergraduate programs and activities.
Associate Provost and Dean of Research and Graduate Studies
The associate provost/dean of research and graduate studies promotes research opportunities for faculty and students, oversees eight doctoral programs and two master’s programs, and implements policies and procedures for external grants, contracts, and fellowship applications. This position is currently vacant.
Associate Provost for Student Success and Dean of Students
Overseeing the Division of Student Success, the associate provost for student success/dean of students works to ensure Clark students’ health and well-being, both personal and academic.
Associate Provost, Dean Graduate Studies & International Programs
The associate provost and dean of graduate studies & international programs leads Clark’s graduate and international studies programs. The dean is responsible for graduate level enrollment management, graduate academic planning, Clark’s International Center and the School of Professional Studies.
Interim Dean of the School of Management
The dean of the School of Management oversees the accounting, analytics, business administration, and finance graduate programs offered to accelerated degree students, full- and part-time students, and to working professionals.
Dean of the Becker School of Design & Technology
The dean of the Becker School of Design & Technology provides academic leadership and vision for the world-renowned Interactive Media/Game Design and Development programs.

Commencement
Clark University’s 118th Commencement ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at noon.
Teaching Evaluations
Clark’s electronic university-wide teaching evaluations solicit feedback from undergraduate and graduate students on courses and teaching. Feedback helps inform improvements in instruction.
